It s always nice to be in the Grand China Princess Hotel.
The view over Bangkok is pretty, the room big and clean.
But this time, we had problems with our mobile phones and iPad, While the mother of my friend was serious ill, no telephone connection at all.
Probable they jammer the phones. For Hotel service an 1!

My second stay at this Hotel in 5 years. A very pleasant stay and my room was upgraded which was lovely. Great views from the pool of the city. If you want somewhere to go outside, then why not take a 100bht tuk tuk to the riverside which is not far.
The Lavender spa is really good . You can eat in the revolving reastaurant at the top floor. Ive done that so i went to the restaurant on floor 10 which was good value.
Reservation service:
Very efficient and secure.

We were very pleasantly suprised by the Grand China Princess. It was excellent value for money, clean, well equipped rooms and in a good central location. We loved the hustle and bustle of Chinatown and the fabulous views from the rooms and from the roof garden. Breakfasts were excellent, especially the pancakes and waffles and the staff were all charming. Will definitely stay there again next time we go to Bangkok.
Reservation service:
Perfect service as always from Sawadee. We have used them on many occasions and have never had a single problem.

Accommodation and facilities:
Very good value for money. Big room with great views and excellent service. Location was not as good as hoped for as a long way from Railway Station and MRT. Suggest using River ferry (about 400 meters) for access to other parts of Bangkok. Also beware very few Restaurants in China Town (mostly street stalls) but Hotel has many places to eat. Close to good markets. Not sure if would stay again due to location
Reservation service:
Excellent

Accommodation and facilities:
This hotel is in China Town so you re right in the middle of it all as soon as you walk out the door. It s only a 5 min walk to the river ferry but it isn t so convenient to the sky train and metro.
The hotel itself is big and a bit out dated but clean and friendly. The pool on the 23rd floor goes right to the edge with only a small fence to stop you falling off. We were too nervous to take our 4 year old son there for too long so we didn t get to make the most of it.
The revolving restaurant was pretty good on level 25. It too was dated but the service was excellent and the Japanese food lovely, the Thai menu was limited. They also offered to make a hamburger for my son that was not on the menu. The chairs are comfy so he easily fell asleep meaning that my husband and I could stay on a bit longer.
The only negative was that they asked us to wait before we checked out so they could check our room before we left. I guess I understand that it would be easier for them and it only took a couple of minutes but it didn’t feel very nice.
Reservation service:
Online booking efficient and very helpful. I would use them again.

Sweeping views over the centre of old Bangkok, Ratanakosin
Island and the Chao Phraya River, and lots of turn-of-the-century Asian
ambience are the main benefits of staying in the middle of Chinatown.
The Grand China Princess takes up the top two-thirds of a 25-storey
tower. Wat Arun, Golden Mount, and Wat Traimit are just some of the
sites visible.
The interiors are comfortable and functional and
all rooms have safes and satellite television. Bathrooms are petit and
well designed. Service is wonderfully friendly, and the reception floor
at level 10 has a welcoming bar, lounge, and coffee shop. The mysterious
effect of dark teak furniture, and a lotus design dominate Siang Ping
Lohrestaurantwhich serves Cantonese and Szechwan food.
